He has joined the specialist development lender after spending a number of years in real estate finance and completing over £500m of development and investment transactions.

He is also a director and board member of the Association of Property Lenders.

Prior to joining Beaufort, Steffan was head of lending at CapitalRise.

Mark Quigley, managing director at Beaufort Capital, said that Steffan was a well-respected figure in the property finance world and had built an impressive track record.
